Get Help with Your Appliance Current

It is easier than you think to locate the appliance's rated current. This information is always listed on the appliance's tag. The tag can usually be found on the back or the bottom of the appliance. The rating can be listed in watts but in most cases it is listed as amps. It is important to note that a milliamp is one-thousanth of an amp therefore if your current is listed in milliamps you will need to divide by one thousand.

Example: 250 milliamps = .25 amps  nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 75 milliamps = .075 amps
